About IDAT Concise

economical, effective and reliable student assessment test

The IDAT Concise is a way of offering an accurate snapshot of a student’s abilities and attitudes for the purposes of admissions and diagnostics. As a branch of the International Diagnostic & Admissions Test (IDAT), the IDAT Concise-English and IDAT Concise-Total are designed to meet the needs of schools who are looking for an economical, effective and reliable student assessment tool to inform their admission and enrolment evaluations or to support student learning strategies.

As with the IDAT, the IDAT Concise versions are based on IDAT’s international curriculum. The IDAT Concise assessments are completely online and graded entirely by computer. They provide a fast, accurate measurement of a student’s abilities. This is particularly convenient for schools who do not have the time or need for lengthier analyses. Delivered and proctored in schools or using a recorded version of the internationally recognised IDAT Secure 360, the IDAT Concise versions provide safe, consistent, immediate results that inform schools to support their students.
